This photo means so much to me because it was taken at my older brother’s graduation at University of Southern California. He received his Master’s Degree in aeronautical engineering.
As you can see in the picture, my dad and mom are super-excited to see my brother graduate. This photo really means a lot to our family because we know how hard my brother worked to achieve his dream. This photo represents our philosophy that, if you are willing to put in the hard work, anything is possible.
Getting a Master’s Degree is a big deal. It symbolizes taking that next step in your profession. And I know how hard my brother worked to get his Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia Tech six years earlier! This photographic image is so complex because I wanted to overlay all the symbols of my brother’s hard work; the university logo, the symbol for master’s degree, aerospace engineering symbols for his Bachelor’s, and even the Maya Angelou quote – these were all things running through my mind as I remember the occasion we captured in the original photo.
This picture means a lot to me because my family is my everything. My family members are my support system and are always there for me when I need them. On this day, we were all in for my brother and we were so proud of him.
He is always been my biggest cheerleader. He always tells me that, just because something is difficult, does not mean that I cannot do it. My brother and I have a great relationship. We really get each other. He supports me in my dreams and I support him in his dreams.
This photo represents that “can’t” should not be in your vocabulary. If you work hard enough and give it your all, you will accomplish your goals. Nothing in life impossible the possibilities are endless.
My brother’s example encourages t me to never give up on my dreams, so I hope to one day get my Master’s Degree, too.
This photo illustrates that the road to achieving dreams may be long and hard but, in the long run, it is so worth it to reach the finish line and feel that wonderful sense of accomplishment!
